For example, a history of thyroid issues, stress, poor diet, or lifestyle choices can all contribute to reduced fertility. Addressing these factors holistically enhances the chances of conception and promotes overall well-being.

Key Strategies to Improve Fertility

1. Chiropractic Care

A well-functioning nervous system is essential for overall health and fertility. Chiropractic care helps restore nervous system balance, reducing stress and improving communication between the brain and body. Weekly adjustments are recommended for both partners to ensure the body can “rest, digest, heal, and grow a baby.”

8. Avoid Fertility Disruptors

Certain habits and exposures can significantly impact fertility:

  • For Men:
    • Avoid saunas, hot tubs, heated seats, and keeping cell phones in pockets to protect sperm health.
  • For Both Partners:
    • Eliminate alcohol: Even minimal consumption can increase genetic risks and embryo mutations.
    • Avoid tobacco and cannabis: These disrupt reproductive health and cause DNA damage.

A Commitment to Health: A Four-Month Protocol

The fertility journey requires time and dedication. To create the healthiest eggs and sperm possible, follow this protocol for a minimum of four months before trying to conceive. This timeframe allows for a complete turnover of healthy eggs and sperm, ensuring both partners are at their peak health.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid trying to conceive during the initial four months to reduce stress and focus on health improvements.
  • Avoid early pregnancy tests, which can create unnecessary anxiety. Wait until a missed period to test.
